Drill

The drill team is one of the most important events on our Comp 40 team. The drill team practices 2-3 days a week with repetitive rounds of the Exhibition team and the Basic team. This team along with the Comp 40 team brings everyone together and we all consider each other family and brothers and sisters. The last drill season both of the drill teams Armed and Unarmed placed top 5. The only difference between the two teams is Armed uses a rifle and Unarmed does not.

In Armed drill there are two teams that you can join: Basic and Exhibition. In Basic you are given a card that all the drill teams in the state of Florida. You have to follow the card exactly or you will get marked off. This is the robotic style of drill that we have. Exhibition is when the team comes up with a routine in between 6-8 minutes of freestyle drill that includes spinning and smooth movements.
